The RUGGEDCOM RMC8388 is a rugged, small form factor time converter that converts PTP (IEEE 1588) to IRIG-B or PPS time signals. Rugged rated for reliability in harsh environments, it also enables several IRIG or PPS configuration options and comes with a host of approvals and certifications.
The RUGGEDCOM RMC8388 saves high maintenance costs on legacy coax cabling by allowing them to be replaced with standard Ethernet cabling for both communications and timing purposes.
